Iran: Islamic countries must confront Zionist crimes in Gaza

Pars Today – The speaker of Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) said Sunday that the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) has a duty to promote unity and coordination, particularly regarding Palestine and the need to confront the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza, which are extremely catastrophic.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who recently traveled to Indonesia to attend the 19th PUIC conference, told Metro TV, the most-watched Indonesian television channel, that relations between Iran and Indonesia are deeply rooted and historic. He added that Indonesia, as an Islamic country, has a long-standing record of cultural and economic cooperation with Iran. (ISNA)
