Iran cultural week to be held in Russia

Meeting between Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi and Russia’s Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova
Pars Today – Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi and Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, in a meeting in St. Petersburg, agreed to hold an Iran Cultural Week in Russia in 2026.
Olga Lyubimova stated that following the successful organization of Russia’s Cultural Week in Iran, the Russian side is preparing to host “Iranian Cultural Days” in 2026.
Seyyed Abbas Salehi arrived in St. Petersburg on Wednesday to attend the 11th International Forum of United Cultures and to discuss the expansion of cultural relations between Iran and Russia.
The International Forum of United Cultures will take place on Thursday and Friday (September 11–12, 2025) with the participation of culture ministers and senior representatives from over 40 countries and international organizations. The forum’s plenary session is scheduled for Thursday with the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. / IRNA
