Why is the West telling big lies about Iranian women?

The Western countries are trying to apply their inefficient prescriptions for the women of other countries, while they have been practically irresponsible towards the state of their own women for years and have cruelly left them alone with a variety of physical, psychological and economic problems.

Pars Today - The Western media hype against the women of Muslim countries, especially Iran, is seeking certain goals some of which have been mentioned below:

1. Undermining family structure

Family is the basis of society and the most important foundation of human communities. Family, besides the role in the population of a country, is very effective in raising and upbringing of children and conveying of norms, moral, patriotic and … values to the next generation. The West, through spread of lies and insinuation of false and outdated beliefs among women, tries to portray family as valueless and damage it. According to the statistics, %45 of children in France are born out of wedlock and in fact family has already been disintegrated over there. 

2. Promotion of Western culture and changing of Iranian woman's identity

"Woman's identity" and "woman's rights" do not matter for the West at all. Rather, the issue of "customary interpretations of social freedoms" are being practiced in the Western countries. In other words, what didn't matter in the campaigns, protests and riots of autumn 2022 in Iran was the "Iranian woman's lifestyle"; rather the "Western woman's lifestyle" was the only thing that had been highlighted and promoted. Some analysts believe that, basically, the focus on the issue of hijab and the enemies' huge investment in the field has aimed to organize "women's revolution in Iran". They maintain that the Islamic Revolution was male-oriented and it can be broken by women's revolution. 

3. Launching civil war in Iran with women's revolution

The West tries, through changing the beliefs of women and instigating them against the ruling system, urge their men, also, to react against the system (or even the unruly women); hence launch internal war in the country. This is while, the history of the Islamic Revolution is full of the scenes of women's presence alongside men and their endeavor for the development of the country. The participation of women in the demonstrations of the 1979 [Islamic] Revolution has been documented in the pictures of newspapers and magazines. After the Islamic Revolution, too, some of the extremist groups tried to restrict women's social presence, but they failed thanks to the resistance of the leaders, particularly, Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him). 

Imam Khomeini said, "You ladies rose up shoulder to shoulder with men in the genuine movements which have taken place in Iran, like the Constitutional movement and the Tobacco [movement], and your role in this uprising has been more than that of men; because when you poured to the streets and demonstrated in front of tanks and guns, men's power was multiplied. After the victory of the revolution, you played a great role in cleansing, jihad and construction and encouraged your tired brothers."

4. Promotion of consumerism

The West tries, through media propaganda, to portray a fake picture of the Western woman and show her as a pioneer in a bid to insinuate backwardness to the women of other nations. Then, it recommends those women to become similar to the models forged by the West to reach growth and progress. Beauty surgeries, a big variety of cosmetics, dresses in vogue, etc. are all highly promoted with the aim of spreading consumerism and sale of the Western goods surplus to other countries.

5. More sanctions against Iran

Westerners try, via forging of cases and fabrication of narratives, try to convince the world public opinion and international bodies to impose more sanctions on Iran. These sanctions are apparently enforced under the guise of human rights or women's rights, but, indeed they pursue the political aims of the Western leaders.

By the way, is the sanction on the medicines needed by the children suffering from EB aimed at supporting women's rights?!!!

6. Encountering the wave of Islamism in the West

The Western politicians, who are facing the ever-increasing wave of tendency towards Islam among their nations and are unable to control it, resort to negative propaganda and portraying fake image of women in Muslim countries (like Iran) to show them wronged and discontent in a bid to hamper the wave of tendency towards Islam among the Western women. Hundreds of women are killed and stolen in the Western countries on a daily basis. They are even raped by the police, but the Western media turn a blind eye on all these events and are looking for a subject in the streets of Iran or other countries in West Asia to produce a media reportage. 

7. West holds a grudge against Iranian woman

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, on April 5, 2023, said to a group of visiting poets, that the enemy has targeted national unity and the religiosity and chastity of women and added, "Westerners have no mercy towards the Iranian woman to say that the women's rights should be observed. They hold a grudge against the Iranian woman. Definitely, the Islamic Revolution wouldn't triumph, if women were not present. I [say this with certainty] that I was present in the middle of the events of the revolution. I mean had women not participated in those great rallies, the revolution wouldn't have triumphed. They [Westerners] bear a grudge against the Iranian woman. They introduce themselves as advocates of woman's rights, advocates of human rights, advocates of freedom. These are all the enemy's onslaught."

The growth of divorce, one-person households and the negative population growth, are among the consequences of parroting the Western formulas. According to the reports, an American [woman] is raped every 98 seconds. One out of every 6 American women has been sexually harassed or raped at least once in her life. The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) researches revealed in 2015 that more than 52 million American women (%43.6 of total number of the American women) had experienced sexual violence. 25.5 million of these women (%21.3 of all women) had been raped. This research shows that 1 out of 3 of the victimized women was aged 11-17. The World Population Review statistical website has estimated that only %9 of the sexual abusers are prosecuted and merely %3 of these criminals are imprisoned. In other words, %97 of these criminals are living freely in the US.

The Western double standards on women's rights can be explicitly seen in Gaza. The statistics released a while ago by the "UN Women" reveal the following facts on the status of women and children in Gaza:

- 70 percent of the martyrs in Gaza are women and children.

- The number of women martyrs in Gaza has amounted to 9 thousand. 

- Every hour, two mothers are martyred in Gaza.

- 3,000 women have lost their husbands as a result of the Zionist regime crimes.

- These crimes have orphaned 10,000 children.

- Women of Gaza give birth without medical-hygiene facilities. 

- Palestinian women are sexually harassed in the Israeli dungeons. 

The very Western politicians who cut their hair in front of cameras, during the 2022 riots in Iran to announce solidarity with the rioters of "Woman, life, freedom" sedition, are now silent towards the Israeli crimes in Gaza and the gross violation of the rights of the Palestinian women; and they even fan the flames of these crimes by selling arms to the criminal Zionist regime.
