Countdown begins for launch of Iran's National Artificial Intelligence Organization

Pars Today - The Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy of Iran announced that the countdown has begun for the launch of Iran's National Artificial Intelligence Organization.

The members of Iran's Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution recently approved the general outlines of the national document for the establishment of the organization and the governing council of artificial intelligence in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Pars Today, Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi, the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, wrote on his personal social media page: "With the countdown beginning for the launch of Iran's National Artificial Intelligence Organization, the concern of the martyred President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi has been realized."

The appointment of the Organization is the responsibility of the President, and the term of office is four years, but it can be extended without any restrictions.

It is worth noting that artificial intelligence is a machine programmed to think like a human and has the ability to mimic human behavior.

According to published statistics, Iran is the leading country in the region and the Islamic world in the field of computer sciences and new technologies. These advancements have been made despite the fact that the United States and some Western countries have imposed sanctions on several Iranian scientific institutions.
