Pezeshkian becomes Islamic Republic of Iran's president via Leader's endorsement
Pars Today - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, based on paragraph 9 of article 110 of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Constitution, in a ceremony on Sunday morning, endorsed the votes of the Iranian nation to Masoud Pezeshkian and appointed him as the new president of the country.
According to Pars Today, quoting the Leader's website, the full text of the endorsement of Masoud Pezeshkian's presidential decree is as follows:
In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful, and all praises belong to the Lord of the worlds, and blessings of God upon [Prophet] Mohammad and his spotlessly pure progeny especially Imam Mahdi
Thank God, the Knowing and the Able who once again made the Islamic Iran proud and the image of the Iranian nation bright. The fateful test of the presidential election ended with the endeavor of the people and officials, in tough conditions, with calm and serenity, and the nation's elected personality became ready to fulfill a great responsibility.
The 14th presidential election, after the incomplete term of the late martyr president, is one of the honors of the Iranian nation and the sign of stability of the enduring Islamic system, and indicative of rationality and serenity of the country's political climate. A look at some of the unpleasant phenomena in some of the similar tests in some regions of the world, indicates the prominence of Iran and Iranian.
Now, thanking all those who have played a role in creation of this honor, following the great nation, I endorse their vote to the learned, honest, popular and knowledgeable personality of Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and appoint him as the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran; and with sincere prayer and wishing success for him, remind that the vote of the nation and my endorsement will continue as long as his permanent conduct of moving in the straight path of Islam and the Revolution persists.
