FM: U.S. cannot distract world from own crimes

Pars Today – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that baseless claims by the U.S. Secretary of State against Iran cannot divert the world’s attention from the reality of American crimes.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a post on the social media platform X that in response to the U.S. Secretary of State’s allegations during a congressional hearing accusing Iran of attempting to assassinate American officials: “The pot calling the kettle black.”
Baqaei added that Playing victim can not whitewash your harrowing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Nation of Iran.
The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during the congressional hearing, had claimed in parts of his remarks against Iran that Tehran was seeking to assassinate American officials.
