Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi announced that Tehran will remain committed to the 2015 nuclear deal with the P5+1 group of countries until the other sides show loyalty to the internationally-endorsed agreement.
"The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has in some 9 cases confirmed Iran's commitment to its nuclear undertakings but Iran's commitment depends on all sides' loyalty to the nuclear deal," Kamalvandi said in the central city of Isfahan on Tuesday.
Noting that Iran precisely monitors the US Congress measures against the nuclear deal, he said, "The AEOI has foreseen the necessary measures based on its responsibilities."
"We hope that this message will be received (by the US and its allies) that we are in highly good conditions in the region and that the US unilateral policies are unlikely to yield any results," Kamalvandi said.
Earlier, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and senior nuclear negotiator Seyyed Abbas Araqchi said that the European Union is against any renegotiation of the 2015 nuclear deal, known as JCPOA, between Tehran and the P5+1 group of countries.
