Iran ranks first in quantum technology production among Islamic countries
Pars Today - Based on the data of the Web of Science database, the scientific production of the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields of quantum technology has ranked first among Islamic countries.
Quantum technology is a hot topic around the world. The first quantum revolution in the 20th century led to the construction of components such as transistors and brought about a major revolution in the technology of advanced computing machines, such as the construction of computers and then entering the world of the Internet.
Iran has also gained many achievements in this science in recent years, despite US sanctions. In this regard, and according to Pars Today, "Seyed Ahmad Fazelzadeh" head of the Islamic World Science and Technology Citation Center (ISC) said: "Iran has ranked eighth in the world and first in the Islamic world in all fields of quantum technology."
He added: "Based on the 20-year vision document of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it was expected that Iran would be in a superior position in the region in the field of quantum technology, using knowledge-based management, software and hardware capabilities, and the effective participation of governmental and non-governmental actors in the development and development of new knowledge and technologies in quantum technology."

The head of ISC also stated that in the global arena, there is intense competition in the field of quantum technology, and China has allocated more than $15 billion to achieve quantum superiority, the European Union has invested more than $7 billion, and the United States has invested nearly $2 billion in this field.
