Anti-Catalan independence protesters demand resignation of PM Sanchez

Thousands took to the streets of Madrid on Saturday, to protest for the unity of Spain and demand the resignation of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

According to Press TV, protesters with banners and flags marched through the streets of the Spanish capital calling for Sanchez to resign and chanting for the unity of Spain and against the Catalan independence.

Sanchez's socialist government is in the midst of scandals regarding its ministers and the secession pressure reignited by the October 1 anniversary of the Catalan referendum.
