Pars Today– The Australian Foreign Minister, on Saturday, criticized Tel Aviv’s behavior and actions in Gaza during a private meeting with "Amir Maimon", the ambassador of the Zionist regime in Canberra. She called for the immediate compliance with international laws and an increase in food supplies for Palestinians.

The meeting between Penny Wong and Maimon took place at the request of the embassy of the Zionist regime and was held in Wong's office at the Australian Parliament. This meeting occurred just a few days after Australia joined 27 other countries in condemning the Zionist regime for obstructing humanitarian aid to Palestinians.

At that time, the Australian Foreign Minister stated that the decision to sign the statement reflected the "concern" and "anguish" Australians felt upon seeing images of starving Palestinians in Gaza. Australian sources said that Wong reiterated her public criticisms of the Israeli regime's conduct in Gaza during her meeting with Maimon. These criticisms included demands for Israel to comply with international law and ensure sufficient food supplies for Palestinians.

Prior to both meetings, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also stated that the Israeli regime is "clearly" violating international law and that Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, the regime's prime minister, is "losing international support."
