OIC condemns Israel’s decision to occupy Gaza
Pars Today – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned Israel’s decision to occupy Gaza.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the OIC in a statement announced that the decision by Israeli occupying authorities to reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip and forcibly displace nearly one million Palestinians violates all international laws.
Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, also reacted to Israel’s decision to occupy Gaza City, saying it constitutes a blatant violation of all UN resolutions and international laws, and underscores Tel Aviv’s continued steps toward threatening the region’s security and stability.
The security cabinet of the Israeli regime has approved prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan for the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip.
Israel’s decision to occupy Gaza has faced widespread global protests, with numerous countries, officials, and international and human rights organizations emphasizing in their statements the urgent need to stop the war against the Gaza Strip and to establish a ceasefire.
