Iran calls for stronger ties with Kuwait

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, in a message to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Ale Sabah, called for broader ties between the two countries.
Rouhani congratulated Emir of Kuwait on the country’s national day and expressed hope for further expansion of relations between the two nations.
In a Monday message to Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Ale Sabah, Rouhani offered sincere congratulations to him and the people of Kuwait on the country's National Day.
Rouhani expressed hope that the ties between the two Muslim and brother countries would be expanded in all fields.
He further wished Kuwaiti Emir health and success and the people of Kuwait prosperity and felicity.
Earlier in mid-December, Emir of Kuwait, in a meeting with Iran's new Ambassador Mohammad Irani to the Persian Gulf state, voiced his enthusiasm for developing bilateral relations with Tehran, underlining his country’s interest in promoting collaboration in various areas.
