    Salaam dear listeners, and heartfelt condolences to you on the poignant anniversary of the martyrdom of the Survivor of the heartrending tragedy of Karbala. Most of us are still clad in black and in the state mourning for the Chief of Martyrs, Imam Husain (AS), whose son and successor, Imam Zain al-Abedin (AS), who was sick and bedridden in Karbala in 61 AH, achieved immortal martyrdom 34 years later in 95 AH in Medina on the 25th of the month of Muharram.
