WFP warns: Severe hunger in Gaza threatens regional stability

Pars Today – The World Food Programme has announced that more than two million people in the Gaza Strip are suffering from severe hunger, with many of them are facing a serious risk of famine.

In a statement, the UN-affiliated WFP said: “If food aid does not reach Gaza, insecurity and unrest will remain a serious challenge for the region.” The agency called for increasing the flow of food aid and expediting its distribution throughout the Gaza Strip. (IRIB news agency)
