Hezbollah official: Saudi Arabia siding with Israel

The Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement’s second-in-command, Sheikh Naim Qassem, censured the Saudi regime’s policies in the Middle East, saying that Riyadh is backing Israeli plots against Palestine.

According to Press TV, Sheikh Qassem said in a meeting of the International Union of Resistance Clerics on Thursday Saudi Arabia has explicitly announced that it sides with the Zionist regime’s schemes and opposes the restoration of Palestinian rights.

He further emphasized that the plots against Muslim nations are based on “three pillars”, namely the US, Zionist regime and Takfiri terrorist groups, which are supported by Saudi Arabia.

All regional wars have been waged because of Israel, the top cleric said, adding that Riyadh is supporting terrorist groups, like Daesh, which are acting in line with the interests of the Tel Aviv regime.

Daesh, is a Takfiri terrorist group in Iraq and Syria believed to be supported by the West and some regional Arab countries.

The terrorist group claims as an independent state the territory of Iraq and Syria, with implied future claims intended over more of the Levant, including Lebanon, occupied Palestine, Jordan, Cyprus, and Southern Turkey.
